A guy with a record of 26 victories and 8 defeats, Robert Whittaker was left cracked jaw by a Russian professional mixed martial artist Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 308. Initially, it looked like a choke, but actually, Khamzat’s left arm was located on a part of Whittaker’s jaw called the mandible. It forms the lower part of the mouth and holds the bottom teeth in place.

Chimaev grabbed onto Whittaker’s lower chin and cranked backward severely which did not choke him out and resulted in his jaw dislocation. Robert Whittaker is an Australian professional mixed martial artist. He made his UFC debut on 15 December 2012 at UFC on FX 6, which was also known as “The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes Finale”. He has been a former MMA competitor since 2009. Out of 26, he won 10 matches by knockout, 11 by decision and the remaining by submission.


According to Celebrity Net Worth, Robert Whittaker holds a net worth of approximately $3 million in 2024. However, until the end of 2022, he earned $3 million in the UFC as career earnings. His estimated average base salary is around $400,000. Winning against Kelvin Gastelum also gave him $220,000 as a base salary with a win bonus of $220,000. He also received $50,000 as a performance bonus and earned $16,000 through incentive pay.

Robert pocketed $200,000 as a base salary when he faced Darren Till in a match, along with a win bonus of $150,000. Moreover, he earned $10,000 through incentive pay.
After losing against Israel Adesanya, Robert Whittaker earned $400,000 as a base salary with another $100,000 as a performance bonus and an additional $40,000 through incentive pay.

Whittaker also faced Yoel Romero twice. In the first fight with him, he earned a base salary of $470,000 with no additional win bonus, but a performance bonus of $150,000 and $40,000 from incentive pay. In the second fight with Yoel, he pocketed $350,000 as a base salary. $50,000 and $30,000 were received by him as performance bonuses and incentive pay respectively
